Career Forge Surveys: SMS Privacy Policy ======================================== Career Soft, LLC, doing business as Career Forge. Last updated 23 September 2026. Career Soft, LLC operates Career Forge Surveys, a text messaging program through which we conduct surveys by SMS on behalf of client colleges and universities. This policy explains how we handle information in that program. The program's terms, including message frequency and rates, are in our SMS Terms (https://careerforge.us/sms-terms.html). WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR MOBILE INFORMATION --------------------------------------- We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in and consent information is never shared with anyone for those purposes. WHAT WE COLLECT --------------- For this program we hold your mobile telephone number, whether and where you agreed to receive text messages, the content of the messages you exchange with us, delivery and timing records for those messages, and a record of whether you have opted out. WHERE YOUR NUMBER COMES FROM ---------------------------- We text only students and recent graduates who agreed to receive text messages from or on behalf of their institution. Your institution gives us your number, and the record that you agreed, from its own records. We do not buy, rent, or collect numbers from any other source. HOW WE USE IT ------------- Only to conduct the survey your institution commissioned, by text message, and to return your answers to that institution. WHO SEES YOUR INFORMATION ------------------------- Your survey answers are shared with the institution that commissioned the survey. That is the purpose of the survey, and the institution owns the resulting records. We also use service providers under contract to run the program: a messaging provider delivers the text messages, and cloud and AI service providers process message content so the conversation can run. These providers act only on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes, including marketing. EDUCATION RECORDS ----------------- Where your survey answers form part of your education records, we handle them on behalf of your institution and under its direction, consistent with FERPA and our agreement with that institution. STOPPING MESSAGES ----------------- Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or contact us using the details below. Reply HELP for help. Opting out applies to every Career Forge survey program, for every institution. Message and data rates may apply. KEEPING AND DELETING YOUR INFORMATION ------------------------------------- We keep survey records for as long as the commissioning institution requires them for its reporting, and then delete them. If you opt out, we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not text you again. You may ask us to delete your information using the contact details below.
